Two Ideas that I learned about Ancient Rome:
1. London, was founded by the Roman's under the name Londinium.
2. There were various forms of Roman dress including a toga, a stola and palla, priest's toga, and the pallium cloak. Most clothing was held together by broaches and clasps.
One tip I can share for how to read/navigate the websites I explored:
When their are a lot of links and text on the webpage, click on headings that sound interesting so you aren't overwhelmed with the information. This will help you narrow ideas and information.
As a teacher: One informational feature:
On the Roman Empire Childrens Section, they had a section to teach children about the types of dress worn during the Ancient Roman times. It offered picture descriptions and clear descriptions using age appropriate language that kids could easily read and understand. This was a great tool for different types of learners.
